I was looking at the Buffalo 2012 softball roster today when I noticed that freshmen Cheyanne Knepper and Samantha Brown were not on it, leaving the Bulls with only 16 players.
Can anyone tell me what happened to these players?

Why?
I'm guessing homesickness, grades perhaps.....Too bad I think both could have helped...That being said the initial schedule looks to be a little more inviting than last year...I'm hoping for a turnaround on the mound for the Bulls!! I am remaining guardedly optimistic at the start!
Sad to leave the team hanging. But the team seems to be taking it in stride and working hard to get ready. Can't wait for the games to begin. GO BULLS!
I agree with all the comments. She was a good pitcher, had the tools to be terrific and make a name for herself, but lacked the dedication and work required to be achieve that rank as a big name college pitcher. I feel sad that a team of girls was left hanging one week before school starts. However the remaining girls are not defined by the two players, they have amazing players and terrific coaches who together can have a winning season and shoot for play offs. I wish all the luck to the UB softball ladies to go kick some butt-- have a great season, all for one together. GO BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
